Welcome to Fireboy and Watergirl 5: Elements, a journey into the mysteries of the elements! This fifth game of the Fireboy and Watergirl series was released in early 2019. Get ready to embark on an adventure to unlock energy sources from the natural elements. In each round, players will have to solve a series of puzzles with a variety of terrain and other objects. You can use a pulley, a seesaw, boxes, portals, and other energy machines. In short, they are a collection of puzzles from previous installments in the series. That’s right, this game will not have new objects. Instead, the challenge was transformed into a journey to discover the seven elements. What are they?
Marvelous Seven Elements
Fireboy and Watergirl 5: Elements has a total of 62 levels within the seven elements. This game only has two main types of levels: Normal levels (49 rounds) and White Diamond levels (13 rounds). Specifically:
- Forest Temple: ten levels.
- Fire Temple: eight levels.
- Light Temple: nin levels.
- Crystal Temple: nine levels.
- Ice Temple: nine levels.
- Wind Temple: eight levels.
- Water Temple: nine levels.
In particular, the first three elements will appear as soon as you open the game. Players will unlock the remaining challenges one by one as they complete levels in the previous element type. The themes in each of these collections accurately reflect their titles. You will have adventures in temples filled with full lava, full water, full ice, and others.
Gameplay and Maneuvers
Elements’ engaging adventure gameplay can keep you immersed for hours with a series of tricky questions. To activate the necessary tools and machines to find their way to the elevator door, you must control two characters. Pay attention to the levers and switches that need to follow the color to unlock the corresponding objects.
Understanding the character’s characteristics is critical to having an impressive journey. Fireboy will be able to touch lava, dash through ice surfaces, and collect red diamonds. Watergirl will be able to access water, walk through ice surfaces (but move slowly), and collect blue diamonds. Exposure to the green slime will injure both of your characters. If only one of the two adventurers has an accident, the round will start again.
You use the arrow keys to maneuver Fireboy and the WASD keys to control Watergirl. A good combination is the key to solving all the challenges in this game. You can invite friends to join and practice your skills with co-op games.
